Dissertation Research and Data Collections
Dissertation Research and Data Collections is a required course of the Doctorate in Business Administration program at American International Theism University. This course emphasizes the conceptualization of research design, the selection of study design, and information-gathering and analytical strategies.
If you’ve made it this far in the DBA program, then you already have all the knowledge required to start your dissertation project. It is a project that requires you to research and collect data regarding a particular business-related topic. But before you can start writing the dissertation, you must identify it through research and data collection. That is what this course will give you the opportunity to do.
As part of the Dissertation Research and Data Collections course, each student will begin the preliminary steps of the Dissertation Project. Students will partake in a series of assignments where they will develop and use study designs and data collection methodologies to develop information that is potentially useful in defining a research topic and in writing a research proposal on that topic.
If you can develop the proper data collection methodologies, then your research topic can be defined to your audience properly. Once you can define the topic based on the data you’ve collected, it becomes easier to write a convincing research proposal. Since the proposal will be backed by research and data, the reader is persuaded to accept your proposal and what it offers.
Dissertation Research and Data Collections is a four-credit course. You are required to finish this course successfully before you can receive your DBA degree. You’ll be given the standard 6 weeks to complete it like every other course. And yes, the course is conducted via the internet.
If you have any questions about how to develop research and data collection methodologies, our instructors will help put you on the correct path. Data collection is an essential skill for DBA students to develop before graduation. It is a skill that will help them in a real business world setting.
